PRE & POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Enhance Safely, Recover Gracefully: Your Guide to Cosmetic Care

  1. Avoid Certain Medications and Supplements: Avoid blood-thinning medications (like aspirin, ibuprofen) and supplements (like vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba) for a week before the treatment, as they can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.

  2. No Alcohol: for at least 24 hours before the procedure to minimize bruising and swelling.

  3. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to the treatment to ensure good hydration.

  4. Skincare Products: Avoid irritating products (like retinoids, harsh exfoliants, or acids) for a few days before the treatment.

  5. Makeup and Skincare: Arrive to your appointment with clean skin, free of makeup, moisturizers, or sunscreen.

  6. Report Health Changes: Inform me of any changes in your health, new medications, or recent medical treatments before undergoing any cosmetic procedure.

  7. Consultation and Questions: I encourage you to consult with me before the procedure and ask any questions you may have to feel informed and comfortable with the process.

  • We recommend that you do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours after your appointment to allow the injection site to heal.

  • Although consuming a small amount of alcohol might not lead to severe complications, it is generally advised to avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after your cosmetic injection treatment. This precaution is due to alcohol's properties as a blood thinner, which can increase the likelihood of bruising and swelling at the injection site.

Furthermore, alcohol can dehydrate your skin, potentially impacting the healing process and the overall effectiveness of the treatment. For optimal results and to ensure your safety, it's best to refrain from alcohol consumption around the time of your procedure.
